Exam Pattern and Syllabus

NDA and NA Exam
  1. Exam Pattern:

    • Written Exam: Two papers – Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks).
    • SSB Interview: Tests on intelligence, personality, and physical fitness.
  2. Syllabus:

    • Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Vector Algebra, Statistics, and Probability.
    • General Ability Test:
      • Part A (English): Grammar, comprehension, vocabulary.
      • Part B (General Knowledge): Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography, Current Events.
CDS Exam
  1. Exam Pattern:

    • Written Exam: Three papers for IMA, INA, AFA – English, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics (each 100 marks). Two papers for OTA – English, General Knowledge (each 100 marks).
    • SSB Interview: Similar to NDA with intelligence, personality, and physical tests.
  2. Syllabus:

    • English: Grammar, comprehension, vocabulary.
    • General Knowledge: Current events, history, geography, science.
    • Elementary Mathematics: Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics.
AFCAT Exam
  1. Exam Pattern:

    • Online Exam: General Awareness, Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test (300 marks).
    • EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test): For technical branches (150 marks).
  2. Syllabus:

    • General Awareness: Current affairs, history, geography, sports, environment, etc.
    • Verbal Ability: Comprehension, error detection, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms.
    • Numerical Ability: Decimal fraction, simplification, average, profit & loss, percentage, ratio & proportion, simple interest.
    • Reasoning and Military Aptitude: Verbal and non-verbal reasoning, spatial ability.
Indian Coast Guard Exam
  1. Exam Pattern:

    • Written Exam: Objective type questions on subjects relevant to the post applied for.
    • Physical Fitness Test (PFT): For assessing the physical capability.
    • Medical Examination: Ensuring medical fitness.
  2. Syllabus:
